&lt;p&gt;This is a direct position with a leading medical device manufacturer. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Our client is seeking to automate part&amp;nbsp;handling on their production
floor and is seeking an engineer with a strong background in robotics.
This is a hands-on position and the ideal candidate will be familiar
with the entire process of automation from design and vendor selection
through implementation.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/strong&gt;Works independently or as part of a team to design, develop, fabricate and implement automated manufacturing systems.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
Coordinates fabrication activities with suppliers.&lt;br /&gt;
Organizes and coordinates the planning and activities required.&lt;br /&gt;
Provides aggressive leadership to achieve the automation goals of the company.&lt;br /&gt;
Design, develop, fabricate and implement automated manufacturing systems.&lt;br /&gt;
Coordinate fabrication activities pertaining to automation details with outside suppliers.&lt;br /&gt;
Identify and institute state of the art manufacturing technologies.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
Provide leadership, organization, coordination and planning to the automation endeavors throughout the plant.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
Institute continuous process automation improvements to existing operations.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.&lt;br /&gt;
Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by&amp;nbsp;supervisor or Chief Compliance Officer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Requirements
&lt;/span&gt;
&lt;p&gt;BS
Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology
or a minimum of 6-8 years experience designing, developing and
implementing automated manufacturing systems with 5 years experience in
a computer controlled (i.e.:&amp;nbsp; CNC or PLC) machining environment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Must have strong background with Robotics&lt;br /&gt;
Experience with Pro-E preferred&lt;/p&gt;

space profiling, underground inspection, and asset management for close-quarters

This opportunity is for an &lt;strong&gt;experienced Mechanical
Engineer&lt;/strong&gt; who is proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation software and can
hit the ground running designing sheet metal, die cast, and plastic injection
molded parts.&amp;nbsp; Experience designing moving parts involved in machine design
and/or robotics is a must.&lt;br /&gt;

Requires:&amp;nbsp;Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical sciences and 0-1 yearsrelated experience in an engineering, analytical or HTS laboratory isrequired, as well as demonstrated technical proficiency performingcomplicated lab techniques including equipment operation andmaintenance, liquid handling and automation.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;
