We're looking for a purely technical, hands-on Mechanical
Design Engineer who is ready to roll up their sleeves and work
hard to get products out of the door. This $50M Robotic Inspection company has
been in business for over 40 years, and they are the world leader in CCTV small
space profiling, underground inspection, and asset management for close-quarters
environments.
This opportunity is for an experienced Mechanical
Engineer who is proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation software and can
hit the ground running designing sheet metal, die cast, and plastic injection
molded parts. Experience designing moving parts involved in machine design
and/or robotics is a must.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation design software
- Experience (at least 6 years) with design and assembly of complex parts for
hydraulics-based machines or robotic systems
- Experience with Design For Manufacturability ( DFM ) and Design For Assembly
( DFA ) concepts
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis ( FEA )
