Administrators, Educators, and Concerned Parents:

Bring excitement and interest to your mathematics and science curriculums through robotics.  Come to the first Annual New England Robotics Conference on October 25, 2008 at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School in Bridgewater, Ma.  This one-day program is open to all administrators, educators, and parents interested in bringing or expanding robotics programs in grades K-12.

This program will feature methodologies you can use for obtaining funding, installing curriculum enhancements, reducing the costs of purchasing supplies, implementing programs for after-school robotics activities designed to benefit our children.  Participants will gain hands-on experience with Lego Mindstorms NXT.

A luncheon panel discussion will be held with presenters of varying backgrounds and experiences in robotics.  Speakers will include college robotics professors, high school teachers, experienced fundraisers, students, parents, and surprise industry experts.  There will be on-going demonstrations by students using several different robotics programs and concepts, creating tie-die tee shirts, and tours of a school’s robotics room.

Professional Development Points from Tufts University will be available as well as a catered lunch.  All participants will receive an education package worth more than $100.
