Full-time permanent position
Huxley Associates is in search of a Computer Vision Scientist to
develop algorithms and software for Government Contract Research and
Development Laboratory projects within Defense and Security. As
Computer Vision Scientist, you will be responsible for developing
computer vision algorithms and systems related to mixed reality,
robotics, unmanned ground and aerial vehicles, and video imaging.
Additionally, you will be responsible for writing proposals, actively
seek and obtain funding from various government and potentially
commercial agencies.
Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D in Computer Science or
Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Computer Vision and Robotics
as well as the following:
Proven track record of obtaining funding for projects and
programs with the sole or most significant contribution from the
individual.
Strong C / C++ algorithm development and techniques; Strong mathematics and linear algebra skills.
Experience with Computer Vision, Robotics , unmanned ground
and aerial vehicles, and video imaging as well as patents, publications
and/or inventions in the field of Computer Vision / Video Imaging.
